1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the website 1lifecentre.com or engaging the counselling services of Dr. Farah Haq / 1Life Centre, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Services

1Life Centre provides professional counselling and psychotherapy services. Services are offered by a Registered Clinical Counsellor in accordance with the standards of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and applicable laws.

3. Not a Substitute for Emergency Care

Counselling services and website content are not a substitute for emergency medical or psychiatric care. If you are in crisis or at risk of harm, please contact emergency services (911) or a crisis line immediately.

4. Appointments & Cancellations

Appointments may be scheduled online or by email. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is requested for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee as discussed during intake.

5. Fees & Payment

Fees for services will be discussed prior to commencing ongoing therapy. Payment is expected at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. Receipts are provided for insurance reimbursement where applicable.

6. Confidentiality

Confidentiality is maintained in accordance with professional ethical standards and applicable privacy legislation, with the standard limits to confidentiality (risk of harm, legal requirements, etc.).
